He began his career with Wells Fargo Advisors in 1989 and is a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager Manager.1 As a PIM manager, he builds and manages customized investment portfolios designed to help individuals, families and foundations achieve their specific investment goals. He takes a value approach to investing focusing on the preservation of capital and the distribution of assets to meet client's needs. Don is among a select few Wells Fargo Advisors' financial advisors who are qualified to manage client portfolios on a discretionary or non-discretionary basis.
Continuing his professional development, Don earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, or CFP® professional certification in 2011. This required completing hundreds of hours of rigorous courses, examinations, ethical requirements as well as a 10-hour comprehensive examination administered according to the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Don graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree in finance in 1985.
Don has two sons, Luke and Bryce, and is actively involved in his community. He and his wife, Jeanne, are founders of the charitable organization, Laces of Love, which has provided over 100,000 pairs of new shoes to underprivileged children in Lee and Collier County. He is also an active volunteer with the Optimist Club of Naples and helps run basketball leagues locally, as well as fundraises, to provide children with a chance to play that might not otherwise have such an opportunity.
